Self-Audit Template

This self-audit template is designed to help you gather together the information you need to better understand the seafood you currently source and serve - the first step to take to improve your seafood sustainability.

The self-audit template is simply a table that helps you summarise key information about your fish's origin and so determine it's sustainability. The format is not set in stone so adapt it as you like to suit your own needs. Once you've gathered together your information in a table like this you will be better prepared to improve your sourcing, following the principle of 'Avoid the Worst, Promote the Best, Improve the Rest'.
You may well find there are information gaps when completing this audit but you can work with your supplier to fill in the blanks.
